Biscuits Baseball, Power Force One, SnoBiz, and Sketchy Gas Stations?!?!

My day in a nutshell! Well that's swell! (Yes, that rhymed!) In WHOWHATWHEREWHENWHY form.

Biscuits Baseball.
Who?
Bunches of Youth Group people, brought to us kindly by Jamin and Jonathan.
What? Biscuits Baseball... you know, that random train station in downtown Monkey town that they decided to turn into baseball stadium and name after a popular food. Who da thunk it?
Where? Riverwalk Stadium.
When? Approximately 11:30 to 3:00
Why? Lindsey was singing the National Anthem so we went to support her.

Power Force One.
Who? Jamin, Emma, Nichole, Clint, Anthony, and I.
What? Yes, YOU know the popular short video clip that was presented kindly by the Impact Team? Well, the names above (Who) decided to recreate this clip, Vaughn Park Style. It's not quite finished yet, but let me hint you as to what you might see if you are ever blessed enough to see this true work of art. I am a clown. Nichole is El Vira (sp?). and Emma is a sumo wrestler. Clint is Brad Sullivan, preacher. Anthony is some random bad guy. Jamin is the videographer and also makes a brief appearance at the beginning of the clip.
Where? Vaughn Park Church of Christ- Jamin's office, outside, and the baptistry.
When? Approximately 5:00
Why? Hmph. No reason. Just for fun.

SnoBiz.
Who? Kate Mc, Nichole, Emma, Clint, James, and I.
What? SnoBiz. Jolly good shaved ice.
Where? Snobiz on Atlanta Highway
When? 8:30ish
Why? Because everybody but me was about to go see Nacho Libre but it didn't start until 10:00, so they needed something to do. I suggested SnoBiz.

Sketchy Gas Station.
Who? Kate Mc, Nichole, Emma, and I.
What? Sketchy. Gas. Station.
Where? On the bypass
When? 9:00ish
Why? Because my gas light was turning on and it was the closest gas station. It was, however, very sketchy. And had many sketchy guys staring at my (and James's behind me) cars. So we made the smart move and decided to find another gas station and pray that I didn't run out of gas.

Hooray for Wednesday!

Oh Yes...

I know, right? It's beautiful. And it's all mine, thanks to my loving mother who purchased it for me!

Well, there's nothing really big going on right now for me, I went to the dentist today and that's about it.

And I'm really mad my blog got deleted...again. But please link me up! Thanks!

What happened to my blog?? Oh well

This isn't my first blog. As my dedicated readers know (all three of them), I already have a blog. And I must say, that blog had some very deep entries. My favorite still remains the one about the Crocs. But, as many of you have told me (and I have realized as well), my old blog site (lauren101789.blogspot.com) doesn't work anymore. If you click on the link, it will send you to a blank site. Ahh, the drama of the internet. No matter. Anyway, in the midst of sadness that more people couldn't read the "I Love Jamin" Blog, I realized that this new blog might symbolize a new stage in my life. Simply said, I am much happier with my life now than I was when I began my first blog. Not that I was depressed or anything, but I am just generally happier now. I don't have the stresses of school to deal with, and I just got back from Impact. So, let me reserve a moment of silence for my past blog... sigh....

Let me start my new blog with a short synopsis of this past week. This past week, I went with some of my best friends to Impact. This was my fifth year at Impact. I love Impact, and although I wish sometimes that there were some chances made, I can always rely for Impact to stay the same in a constantly changing world. Having said that, I usually come home from Impact with a spiritual high, but eventually end up losing that high and forgetting all that I have learned. With that said, I want to make a commitment to keep up with my Christian life. I shouldn't forget about something like this. It's not like I don't go to church at least three times a week. So... please help me remember this!

Impact. Ah, Impact. There are so many things that took place -- Power Force One, Dr. Kobra, tying the Ball Race, reaching the de
cision that Todd Loyd is gorgeous and so is David Rubio, The Brothers Three, watching MOST, getting no sleep, LOTS of Apples to Apples, Ice cream, the Apologetics, Grits, Bean and Bailey, RIGHT NOW, being an alien, losing a tire on the trailor, Flannel Board, and slight counselor drama, just to name a few--that there's no way I can forget. The most emotional time of Impact for everyone -- even the guys-- was watching the film MOST. Tears were shed, lots and lots of tears. I am generally an emotional person anyway... well, there was no hope for me. The girls all cried together, and shared their "story", since that was the theme.

So many good times, so many hard times. An emotional rollercoaster, of course. But I wouldn't replace the past week for anything. I missed my friends back home, but I love my friends that went on the trip too. We all bonded together like we have never bonded before. With that said, I am very tired. But here are some pictures!
