Well, I have many a thing to blog about.

1. Oh, my toe....

Yesterday, I woke up not only with a terrible cold (at least, I think its a cold, I'm still suffering...) but also a terrible terrible ingrown toenail. I had one of these in Miami, but not nearly this bad! It hurt so bad, I could hardly walk on it. If you think I'm exaggerating, ask my mom. So I, in an
attempt to make it feel better, did a small operation on my toe, only to find it hurting even worse than it did before. After that, of course, I cry to my mom for help. She gets me to soak it in hot water to numb it, and as I sob and cry frantically, she tries to fix it. She didn't help it either. At this point, the pain was extremely intense. So, she calls a doctor. After calling several doctors and my dad (something she doesn't do except in emergencies), a nurse tells her to order me some antibiotics and come in next week to possibly get my toenail removed. Oh joy! So my dad called me in some antibiotics, and I am currently on pain killers. Isn't that wonderful?

2. Last day of w
ork

Today was my last day of work at Candy's. It was a bittersweet ending to my summer job. I'm glad to have more free time now, but it was a pretty d
ecent job, and it paid well!

3. Chikfila Shakes are Great!

I'm sipping on a Cookies & Cream shake as I type right now! Jealous yet? It's great! I'm also eating some Arby's fries. Yes, I went to two different fast food restaurants.
Why? Because I can!

4. What a hunk!

Well, I FINALLY saw Superman Returns last night! Before the movie, a friend of mine accused me of only wanting to see this movie for the "hunky" guy in it, probably because the last movie I saw (Pirates) also had a very attractive guy in it, and he had accused me of it before. Oh well. Superman was a very good movie, regardless of the gorgeous guy playing Clark Kent. He was simply a very large scoop of ice cream on an already delicious slice of cake. (Yes, I'm still sipping on my milkshake!) Anyway, it was a good movie and since it's about to leave theaters, I suggest the rental. Oh, and Marci-- you were right about the llama reference! I laughed at loud! Really! I was getting stares from people!

5. Six Flags

Is in two days!!! I know Jonathan can't wait!!

don't worry about your toe nail. It'll grow back. I had mine taken off once because of an ingrown toe nail...of course back then they just used alcohol and some pliers :)

As a Mom of two teenagers that both adore Six Flags... thank you for taking them each year! I,like a lot of adults, HATE Six Flags!!! I used to ride everything and eat expensive junk and leave with a "high" from too many wild rides and sugar. Something happens to you after having children...you experience enough excitement without getting on a ride that flips you upside down or jerks your neck or back out of whack! But I'm glad you are going tomorrow and I'm sure you'll have loads of fun! Hang in there Jonathan...these kids love you! Jamin too, of course!

You know, they have ingrown toenail medicine in the stores. I don't know how well it works, but they have it.

I am jealous of everyone going to Six Flags/White Water. GRRR.

Ok so we haven't seen Superman yet. But last weekend we went to see Pirates, and the movie cut off right in the middle for like 5 minutes. Then it came back on but without sound, so I refused to watch, assuming they would rewind it. Wrong. We missed a fairly significant scene in the movie. So afterwards I DEMANDED they give us re-admission tickets. So we will be using our re-admission tickets to go see Superman. The end.
