Yes, I'm Back....

So yes, I'm back from the beach. And no, I didn't take any pictures to post up here. This (to the left) is the hotel we stayed at, the Island House Hotel. Not exactly worth the hype, but it was okay I guess. It was on the beach, so it wasn't bad. The only bad thing was that it didn't have a refridgerator to put our leftovers in, but we bought a cooler. Our hotel looked like an office building, no joke. Pretty much all I did was lay out in the sun, relax, and eat. And I did a teeny tiny bit of shopping at the Foley Outlet.

My favorite restaurant that we ate at (between Lulu's, Lamberts, and Bubba's) would definately be Lulus. It was my first Lulu experience, and hopefully not my last. It was a fun atmosphere, and I loved the fun colors. I decided if I were to decorate a beachy restaurant, it would look very similar to this. We started out with two appetizers: fried okra (my favorite food in the ENTIRE world), and fried green tomatoes. Both were very good! Then I ate a Cheeseburger in Paradise, in tribute to Lulu (Lucy's) brother, Jimmy Buffet. Maybe you have heard of him? Anyway it was a great experience! I'm gonna miss the beach atmosphere, but I'm glad to be back!

Oh--- and if you haven't already tried it, go out to your local McDonalds and try their new Southern Style Chicken Sandwich! It's not as good as Chikfila's, sure, but still good for McDonalds! Finally, something I'll actually EAT at Mickey D's!

Sometimes all you can afford is McDonald's. WOMP WOOOMP.

We haven't even been to the beach all summer. I am sad. But we're going on the family beach retreat & I'm looking forward to it!
